Copycat | Dry Brush Nail Art

Hello dear readers ! Today I will be showing you my very first Dry Brush Nail Art. :)

I "stole" this manicure from the book "Idiot's Guides: Nail Art" by the lovely Emily Draher, aka The Lacquerologist! :) The tutorial can be found on pages 62-63. Here is a sneak peek ;)

For this nail art, I first painted 3 coats of piCture pOlish Nude. Then I dry brushed with 3 of my favorite Kikos: 290 Dark Magenta332 Dark Violet and 344 Light Misty Green.

I could have chose other colors than the ones used by Emily, but those are my favorite shades of polish and they are so gorgeous together ♥

This nail art is so easy, you don't have to be precise and the only tools you need are the brushes of the nail polishes you're using and some paper towel.

The "Idiot's Guides: Nail Art" by Emily Draher can be purchased from Amazon for $13.60.

So, what do you think of this dry bush technique?

New Year's Nails! || China Glaze Pelican Gray

Few weeks ago, I told you about my love for the "Winter Icicle Nail Art Tutorial" of Sandy DandyNails. As I received all I needed to do it myself, I decided that will be my nail art for New Year's Eve :) So here's the result (the pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the holographic glitter) :

Essence Fame Fatal (Colour & Go 114)

Oh red nail polish... I don't really like you on my nails, lol! If you know me a little, you know that red isn't favorite nail polish color... It's just too "femme fatale" for me!
So when I was looking for a red nail polish to use for nail art, cause everyone need at least one red polish, I came across this red by Essence, with THE perfect name ^^
