Darling Diva Polish // Game Over, Man! + Nail Art

Hello dear readers! :) Sundays are usually for Nailstorming manis but this week I wasn't inspired by the prompt so I'm going to show you a simple nail art I did with 2 gorgeous Darling Diva Polishes.

On Thursday, I received the Darling Diva Polish Hug My Face Collection (AKA Alien Collection) to review and I immediately started to swatch it. I don't have much time after work to play with nail polish - in addition to the fact that I'm not allowed to wear nail polish at work :( - so I usually keep nail art activities for the weekend. But those DDP are so stunning that I couldn't help myself. When I had the amazing Game Over, Man! on my nails I didn't want to take it off... Few years ago I hated red, but now, thanks to my lovely friend Ashley (Ashley is PolishAddicted), this is color I really like to wear - but plum is still my favorite shade ^^ To keep this lovely red on my nails a little longer, and take a small break from swatching, I decided to do a quick and simple nail art with another Darling Diva from the same collection.

So, for this nail art I first applied 2 coats of Game Over, Man!. Then I placed two "french manicure guides" (the ones in the middle in this pic) on my nails and painted the space between them with Did IQs Just Drop Sharply When I Was Away?. I added one coat of top coat to get a smooth finish.

I will have the swatches of 9 of the 10 polishes of the Hug My Face Collection (AKA Alien Collection) on the blog soon, but I wanted to show you this nail art first and also tell you that Darling Diva Polish is having a sale in celebration of Labor Day this weekend so check out their social media accounts to get the code ;)

Darling Diva Polish // Price: $8.50 to $12.50

* The nail polishes used in this nail art were sent to me for my honest review. Please see my disclosure page for more information.

New Year's Nails! || China Glaze Pelican Gray

Few weeks ago, I told you about my love for the "Winter Icicle Nail Art Tutorial" of Sandy DandyNails. As I received all I needed to do it myself, I decided that will be my nail art for New Year's Eve :) So here's the result (the pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the holographic glitter) :

Essence Fame Fatal (Colour & Go 114)

Oh red nail polish... I don't really like you on my nails, lol! If you know me a little, you know that red isn't favorite nail polish color... It's just too "femme fatale" for me!
So when I was looking for a red nail polish to use for nail art, cause everyone need at least one red polish, I came across this red by Essence, with THE perfect name ^^
