OPI // Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI, Get Cherried Away + Skull & Glossbones

Hello dear readers ! I have some swatches from the vault for you today :)

The first swatches are not that old but I needed a third polish for the post so... :P

I already swatched this gorgeous Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI? in February 2013, but the swatches were... well... ugly! This polish is really beautiful and deserved so much better than these ugly swatches, so I had to reswatch it XD

For these photos, I applied 2 coats of Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?. It's purple so of course, I looove it ! :P

And the shimmers... ♥

The second polish is Get Cherried Away, from the Coca Cola collection. This polish is so hard to photograph... sometimes it's more pink and sometimes it's more purple depending on the light.

For these swatched, I applied 2 coats of Get Cherried Away. Great coverage. No application issue.

Third polish: Skull & Glossbones from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. It's a weird color, a gray/off-white/beige and I love it! I wouldn't wear it on its own but it's a great base color for a nail art !!

For these photos, I applied 3 coats Skull & Glossbones. The first coat was really sheer so the third coat wasn't optional at all for me!

  1. All three of these are gorgeous! Skull and Glossbones is definitely one of my favorite neutrals.

New Year's Nails! || China Glaze Pelican Gray

Few weeks ago, I told you about my love for the "Winter Icicle Nail Art Tutorial" of Sandy DandyNails. As I received all I needed to do it myself, I decided that will be my nail art for New Year's Eve :) So here's the result (the pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the holographic glitter) :

Review: Born Pretty Store - Acrylic Powders & Monomer #01

Hi guys!!!!!! I'm so excited to finally be able to post this review =)
So, the last products from Born Pretty Store I chose to review are acrylic powder & acrylic liquid (monomer). My very first try was a free hand bow, because there is a video tutorial on the acrylic powder page on BPS showing how to create a bow with acrylic powder. But it wasn't a success :/ So I bought 3D molds...
Here are the pictures of my first attempts:

Essence Fame Fatal (Colour & Go 114)

Oh red nail polish... I don't really like you on my nails, lol! If you know me a little, you know that red isn't favorite nail polish color... It's just too "femme fatale" for me!
So when I was looking for a red nail polish to use for nail art, cause everyone need at least one red polish, I came across this red by Essence, with THE perfect name ^^
