#ManisForGosia & Glam Polish Book of Shadows

Hi guys! This Sunday, I have another mani inspired by one my friends who has decided to stop blogging :(

My friend Gosia from Life in Color! (aka Colorful Crack), announced last Sunday that she won't blog anymore. You can learn more about her decision in her blogpost 'Adieu my loves...'. To support her, a several of her friends will post manis with the hashtag #manisforgosia. Thank you Michaela @The Mani Café for this lovely idea.
If you know Gosia and her manicures, you may have noticed that she loves accent nails, especially stamped accent nails! So I tried to copy one of her nail arts, but I'm not very good at stamping so please forgive me :/ I really need to stamp more often!!!

You can take a look at Gosia's mani and her beautiful stamped accent nail HERE  (yes, I'm jealous). I don't have the polishes she used so I chose another blue glitter polish instead, the pretty Book of Shadows by Glam Polish

This Glam almost ended up in my blog sale, but I wanted to try it before selling it. And I'm glad I did cause it's really pretty! It has some dark turquoise/teal hues that I couldn't see in the bottle - it's more obvious IRL than on these pics.

For this mani, I applied 3 coats of Book of Shadows. It's opaque with 2, but the color is more intense with the third coat. For my accent nail, 3 coats of Elevation Polish Weddell Sea and a pattern of the Bundle Monster plate BM-206 stamped with a black polish.

I hope you liked this mani, despite my bad stamping! :/ If you're a fan of Gosia's nail arts like me, you can still follow her on Instagram ♥

Love you Gosia! I wish I could meet you (and Jin Jit) this summer... but maybe another time! :-*

  1. That blue is absolutely gorgeous! Did you use the same polish to dot the stamp?

  2. That was a very nice idea to do some #manisforgosia :) I love your interpretation and I hope that I can get time to do at least one as well.

    1. Thank you! :) If you can join us that would be awesome!!!

New Year's Nails! || China Glaze Pelican Gray

Few weeks ago, I told you about my love for the "Winter Icicle Nail Art Tutorial" of Sandy DandyNails. As I received all I needed to do it myself, I decided that will be my nail art for New Year's Eve :) So here's the result (the pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the holographic glitter) :

Essence Fame Fatal (Colour & Go 114)

Oh red nail polish... I don't really like you on my nails, lol! If you know me a little, you know that red isn't favorite nail polish color... It's just too "femme fatale" for me!
So when I was looking for a red nail polish to use for nail art, cause everyone need at least one red polish, I came across this red by Essence, with THE perfect name ^^
