The New Black - Ombré Shades: Graffiti

Several months ago, I had the chance to be one of the lucky winners of  Nailderella's The New Black Giveaway I got my price - the Ombré Shades set "Graffiti - last June and swatched the polishes right away ♥ but I never uploaded my pics on my blog... don't know why!

So here they are, finally! ;)

The Graffiti "Ombré Shades" set consist of 5 polishes (obviously), from black to silver: a plain black, a black with gold shimmer, a grey with silver/blue/purple shimmer, a metallic silver and a silver glitter.

The colors are really pretty. Application was good, from what I remember.

What can I say about this set ?

Well, my favorite colors are the "Grey with silver/blue/purple shimmer" and the "Black with gold shimmer". They are really gorgeous, and I had nothing like this in my stash! Here are macro shots of these 2, that I took just few minutes ago on my new short nails ;)

The "Black", "Metallic Silver" and "Silver Glitter" are pretty but I have several similar colors in my stash. I applied the glitter polish on its own, no full coverage after too many coats, so it definitely needs to be layered over another color! One thing I really like about the metallic silver is that, unlike many other metallic nail polishes, you can't see the brush strokes, which is awesome! So I decided to get rid of one of my other metallic silver ^^ See my Blog Sale to find out which polish it is ;)

I'd like to thank Karine Nailderella and The New Black for this awesome prize. Thank you so much, I'm really glad I won this set!

  1. love it, so pretty!!

New Year's Nails! || China Glaze Pelican Gray

Few weeks ago, I told you about my love for the "Winter Icicle Nail Art Tutorial" of Sandy DandyNails. As I received all I needed to do it myself, I decided that will be my nail art for New Year's Eve :) So here's the result (the pictures really don't do justice to the beauty of the holographic glitter) :

Review: Born Pretty Store - Acrylic Powders & Monomer #01

Hi guys!!!!!! I'm so excited to finally be able to post this review =)
So, the last products from Born Pretty Store I chose to review are acrylic powder & acrylic liquid (monomer). My very first try was a free hand bow, because there is a video tutorial on the acrylic powder page on BPS showing how to create a bow with acrylic powder. But it wasn't a success :/ So I bought 3D molds...
Here are the pictures of my first attempts:

Essence Fame Fatal (Colour & Go 114)

Oh red nail polish... I don't really like you on my nails, lol! If you know me a little, you know that red isn't favorite nail polish color... It's just too "femme fatale" for me!
So when I was looking for a red nail polish to use for nail art, cause everyone need at least one red polish, I came across this red by Essence, with THE perfect name ^^
